  1. To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
  2. To safeguard your personal data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks, we have introduced appropriate administrative, physical and technical measures such as up-to-date antivirus protection, encryption and theuse of privacy filters to secure all storage and transmission of personal information by us, and disclosing personal information both internally and to our authorised third party service providersand agents only on a need-to-know basis.
  3. We use the Platform and network that are PCI compliant. We use the direct payment method (Shopify Payments) which is encrypted with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
  4. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
  5. What also helps is that Shopify doesn’t retain credit card or personal customer info from your eCommerce transactions. The data needed to authorize a transaction is passed directly through to the banks. So “hacking” in to the Shopify network just won’t pay off because there is nothing in there to get to. The transaction passes right through. Ultimately, your customers' credit card info is as safe as your payment processor’s systems.
  6. You should be aware, however, that no method of transmission over the Internet or methodof electronic storage is completely secure. While security cannot be guaranteed, we strive toprotect the security of your information and are constantly reviewing and enhancing ourinformation security measures.
