The whisky starts in the first fill bourbon casks and then spends 12 months in Pedro Ximinez Spanish Sherry casks. Deep dark richness from the sherry cask, the nose opens with Cereal notes, toffee and apples. The palate is again rich and creamy with of dried apricots and dates with a malty cereal gain which is consistent throughout the line of malts.
