The word Shinobu means “Forbearance” in Japanese. This reflects the dedication and patience of the distiller throughout the process. Master distiller Mr. Usami carefully selects whiskies from around the world. First, he ages them in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks. Then, he finishes the blend in rare Japanese Mizunara oak barrels.
